Silver Rose Pilgrimage

  • Little Flower Basilica 1715 North Zarzamora Street San Antonio, TX, 78201 United States (map)

The Silver Rose will stop in San Antonio on its pilgrimage to the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico City.

Every year, from early March through Mid-December, Silver Roses are stewarded by Knights of Columbus Councils along routes beginning in Canada and ending at the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico City in time for Our Lady’s feast day on December 12.

“Unity in the Community”

Every stop the Silver Rose makes throughout the pilgrimage is a rosary-centered occasion for Knights, parishioners, and the community to pray for respect for life, the spiritual renewal of each nation, and advancing the message of Our Lady of Guadalupe, and seeks to demonstrate the unity between Knights of Columbus in Canada, the United States, and Mexico.

The Silver Rose will make its pilgrimage through San Antonio on August 20, 2023, arriving at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Little Flower at 3:00pm and departing for its next stop at 5:00pm. A rosary will be prayed shortly after its arrival and the Basilica will remain open for viewing and prayer.
