Become a Catholic
Becoming Catholic is one of life’s most profound experiences. A person is brought into full communion with the Catholic Church through reception of the three sacraments of Christian initiation—baptism, confirmation, and the Holy Eucharist. Faith Formation Classes at Little Flower Basilica serve people of all ages who wish to receive their sacraments of initiation.
Faith Formation Classes
OCIA: The Order of the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults is available for adults (18 & up) who are curious about the Catholic faith, or have received none or only some of their sacraments. Students begin the process each fall with the goal of receiving the sacraments of initiation. Clases también disponibles en español.
OCIA for Children: The Order of the Rite of Christian Initiation Adapted for Children is a year long process for children ages 7 to 17 who 1) have not been baptized or 2) are beyond the traditional age to attend standard Religious Education classes. Classes begin in the fall, at the end of which children receive all sacraments of initiation.
Religious Education: The religious education process for the children of our parish not attending Little Flower School. Classes meet on Sundays concurrent to the school year.
