Serve the Community

  • The Altar Society works closely with the pastor to maintain the beauty of our Basilica. From providing vestments for our Carmelite Fathers and linens for our altar to cleaning the Basilica every week. Our members serve the Lord and our parish community by offering our time and talents when needed.

  • We are catholic men putting our faith in action to service and protect families.

    Juntos, estamos empoderando a los hombres católicos para que vivan su fe en el hogar, en su parroquia, en el trabajo y en su comunidad.

  • Begun in 1833 in Paris, France, St. Vincent de Paul offers kindness, respect and compassion to the poor. Little Flower’s chapter helps those in need in our local community with food, financial help with rent or utilities, and most of all, to grow spiritually and know that Christ is with them and loves them.

    Iniciado en 1833 en París, Francia, San Vicente de Paúl ofrece bondad, respeto y compasión a los pobres. El capítulo de Little Flower ayuda a los necesitados de nuestra comunidad local con alimentos, ayuda financiera con el alquiler o los servicios públicos y, sobre todo, a crecer espiritualmente y saber que Cristo está con ellos y los ama.

Assist in the Liturgy

  • Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion assist in administering the sacrament of the Eucharist, the consecrated bread and wine.

    Los Ministros Extraordinarios de la Sagrada Comunión ayudan a administrar el sacramento de la Eucaristía, el pan y el vino consagrados.

  • Lectors express their love for the Word of God in Scripture and make parishioners and visitors feel welcome to the celebration of the Mass at the Basilica.

    Los lectores expresan su amor por la Palabra de Dios en las Escrituras y hacen que los feligreses y visitantes se sientan bienvenidos a la celebración de la Misa en la Basílica.

  • Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion assist in administering the sacrament of the Eucharist, the consecrated bread and wine. Serve the elderly and homebound of our community who can no longer attend Mass by bringing Holy Communion to them at home!

    Los Ministros Extraordinarios de la Sagrada Comunión ayudan a administrar el sacramento de la Eucaristía, el pan y el vino consagrados. ¡Sirve a los ancianos y a los confinados en casa y en centros de salud de nuestra comunidad que ya no pueden asistir a Misa llevándoles la Sagrada Comunión a su domicilio!

  • Help welcome parishioners and visitors into the Basilica before Mass.

    Ayude a dar la bienvenida a los feligreses y visitantes a la Basílica antes de la Misa.

  • Ushers assist with directing and seating guests for Mass.
