What is Wojtyla Night?

Wojtyla Night is an event inspired by the life of Pope St. John Paul II (born Karol Wojtyla). It is an evening where young adults gather together in community to share our eros with each other. JPII’s definition of eros “implies the upward impulse of the human heart toward what is true, good and beautiful.” After sharing a meal together, we'll participate in a night of open-mic, poetry, and art show. It’s a fairly open concept and informal. Examples of art include: live performance art, various readings from literature, poetry, original storytelling, songs and hymns, etc. We will especially celebrate the original works of art, music, dance, and poetry, created by many artists, musicians, dancers, and talented poets in our YA Catholic community who creatively express our beautiful God. We hope this event is a place where all artists are encouraged, supported, and celebrated!
