Lectio Divina in the Teresian Spirit of Prayer
Presented by members of the Secular Order of Discalced Carmelites of San Antonio.
Lectio Divina ("divine reading") describes a way of meditation by praying the Scriptures. This prayer progresses from reading, to prayerful reflection, to personal response, and finally to our personal resolution in response to God.
Inspired by the writings of St. Teresa of Avila, explore and practice Lectio Divina in the spirit of Teresian Prayer and learn how specific Teresian characteristics of prayer can enrich your Lectio Divina experience.
