The Practice of the Presence of God in Carmelite Spirituality
Presented by members of the Secular Order of Discalced Carmelites of San Antonio.
The practice of the presence of God in Carmelite spirituality emphasizes continuous awareness of God's presence in everyday life. Rooted in the teachings of saints like Teresa of Ávila and John of the Cross, it involves constant mindfulness of God through prayer and contemplation, transforming daily activities into acts of devotion that foster inner peace and a profound sense of union with God.
